Bernarr Macfadden...Truly the Most Interesting Man in the World

The "Inquiring Fotographer" from the Daily News, New York's Picture Newspaper asks a question to locals on Friday, March 6, 1953 (among the dull responses, I suddenly read the following)
The Question:
What has been your greatest disappointment of your life?
Bernarr Macfadden, physical culturist, age 85:
"That happened a few months ago in France. I made a parachute jump in my red flannels, intending to land in the Seine River. Thirty French beauties, clad in Bikini bathing suits, stood on the banks, ready to dive in and pull me to shore. At the last minute, the wind blew me ashore. What a blow that was!"
